A myriad of decorated and animated floats following the theme of the season parade to the rhythm of street art troupes and musical groups from around the world, in a colorful, festive atmosphere suitable for families.
Best option for families and young children! Throughout the day, witness the parade of floats and masks and spend a festive and colorful afternoon in the imaginary and fairy-tale world of Ymagiers and Carnavaliers.
This prestigious show takes place in the afternoon and lasts approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.

The King, the Queen, the Carnavalon, some of the floats, and flowers of the Carnival gather around the guest of honor of the foreign Carnival, troupes, dancers, bands, for a unique representation of the DNA of the Nice Carnival.

The exhibition traces the history of the Carnival, from its creation in 1873 to the present day, highlighting floats and costumes inspired by pop culture.
You can discover original creations featuring characters from movies, TV series, comics, and video games.
Additionally, it pays homage to the Carnival artisans, who are the true creators of the event.

The grand hall presents Sébastien Dalbera’s passion for the Nice Carnival, with a selection of objects from his collection.
From an early age, Sébastien Dalbera was fascinated by what was happening behind the scenes of the Carnival. Devoting his free time to studying carnival creations, he created the first museum entirely dedicated to the Carnival in France! An opportunity to discover the history of the Carnival through the work of its artisans. “E que viva Carnevale”.

This exhibition is the first retrospective dedicated to Martine Doytier. It brings together all her known works to date.
Martine Doytier was an artist in Nice from 1971 to 1984. Over thirteen years, she developed captivating work.
Her keen eye and ability to sketch characters and tell their stories have produced a corpus of constantly evolving works and led her to undertake what would be her last unfinished work: “Self-portrait,” a painting she worked on for five years that passionately describes her daily world.

The Trachel and Rothschild collections in Nice. The exhibition highlights the works generously donated to the city of Nice by these two great families. These donations, made between 1892 and 1912, include more than seventeen hundred works of various kinds: archaeological objects, drawings, watercolors, paintings, sculptures, prints, but also furniture, ceramics, and fabrics. They constitute the core of Nice’s museum collections.
