From July 1 to August 31, the Civic Archaeological Museum “Girolamo Rossi” of Ventimiglia will open its exhibition halls with summer hours, including evening openings on Fridays and Sundays from 9 PM to 11 PM in addition to the regular daytime hours. During these times, themed guided tours will be available, allowing visitors to discover the history and characteristics of the exhibited artifacts from the Roman city of Albintimilium, and on the floor below the terrace, the new exhibition route dedicated to the history of the Ridotta dell’Annunziata, the monuments that preceded it, and the Valley of Marvels.
In particular, starting from July 5, every Friday evening will be dedicated to families with children, who will be involved in games of intuition and observation, manipulation, and skill, making the Museum visit more fun and engaging. Sunday evenings will be dedicated to themed guided tours and “candlelight” visits, offering a different and more attractive way to explore themes and content in greater depth.
During the summer, the Museum will also offer the opportunity to participate, by reservation, in educational workshops open to the young (from 6 to 99 years old!!!), both residents and tourists, for playful and instructive activities inspired by the museum itinerary.
