Today, the Government Counselor-Minister of Equipment, Environment, and Urban Planning met with representatives of the Union of Traders and Artisans of Monaco (UCAM) and the Monaco Hotel Industry Association (AIHM), in the presence of the Chief of Staff of H.E. the Minister of State and his teams, to discuss the Government’s mobility objectives and how to address the concerns of traders and professionals in terms of commercial attractiveness and employee needs.
The commissioning of the Salines parking lot, which offers an attractive parking solution at the city entrance, was discussed. This should free up parking spaces in the city center for the benefit of businesses and residents. It was also an opportunity to highlight the transport offer, especially ClicBus, which provides a transport solution for jobs with specific hours such as those in the hospitality and catering sectors.
UCAM and AIHM are real intermediaries for the Government with their members, and these exchange meetings are rich in learning for both sides. The next meeting is already scheduled for the second half of the year to review the initial results of the recently implemented measures.
