On February 14th, it’s just over a week away, and you’re unsure where to celebrate with your loved one? Certainly, the Principality of Monaco will cater to every need.

Here are some perfect ideas, selected by Monte Carlo Living, for spending an evening filled with love, good food, or relaxation:

  1. Candlelit Dinner at Métropole Restaurant

As Valentine’s Day approaches, the image of a romantic candlelit dinner often comes to mind. The Principality stands out as a culinary destination, and some restaurants have prepared a special menu for February 14th. The Métropole, located just steps from the famous Casino de Monte-Carlo, is no exception. This Tuscan-style hotel offers a unique culinary experience with a special dinner curated by Christophe Cussac at the Ambassadeurs restaurant, priced at 275 euros.

The chef has crafted a seven-course menu featuring iconic dishes such as caviar and hen’s egg, sea bass, and veal fillet, along with the legendary bread and dessert carts that make the hotel famous. To start, and perhaps extend, this exquisite moment with your partner, the hotel’s Lobby Bar will serve the delightful Valentine’s Passion cocktail. The soothing voice of Jaffa, the hotel’s jazz pianist, will add the perfect finishing touch to this idyllic interlude.

  1. Relaxing Couple Time

To release tension, treat yourselves to a moment of complete relaxation at Thermes Marins Monte-Carlo, a true haven of well-being. This unique place combines the spirit of ancient baths with the latest high-tech facilities. The heated seawater pool, sauna, and solarium with breathtaking sea views will be the perfect backdrop for your couple’s relaxation.

To complete the day, you can opt for the Cinq Mondes spa located nearby at Monte-Carlo Bay. For the occasion, the wellness center offers a “Happiness Ritual for Couples.” This 1-hour and 50-minute session in a double cabin includes three treatments. It begins with a Japanese bath enriched with aromas and flowers, followed by an aromatic spice scrub, an exfoliating treatment with spices and sea salt inspired by the Island of Java, leaving your skin soft and luminous. To conclude, you will be pampered with a 50-minute revitalizing Ayurvedic or Taoist massage, both performed with warm oil to release tension and revitalize the body.

  1. Romantic Getaway

What could be more romantic than a hand-in-hand stroll in flower-filled gardens under the Monaco sun? The options are varied: the Princesse Grace Rose Garden is ideal, with roses symbolizing love. For a breathtaking view of the Mediterranean and exotic plants, opt for the Jardins Saint-Marin, located on the Rock between the Oceanographic Museum and the Cathedral. If you want to completely unwind, choose the Jardin Japonais, an oasis of exotic peace, and the Jardins des Boulingrins.

And if you want to admire the landscape from above, opt for a panoramic helicopter flight with Monacair, taking you through the most picturesque places in Monaco and the French Riviera. Prices range from €390 for 10 minutes, €690 for 20 minutes to €900 for 30 minutes.

  1. Special Gift

Clothing, jewelry, accessories… Monaco has everything you need to make your loved one’s eyes sparkle. With different shopping areas depending on your budget, the Promenade Monte-Carlo Shopping hosts some of the most luxurious brands, including Cartier, Chanel, Céline, Alexander McQueen, and Louis Vuitton. Across from the Jardins du Casino, the Métropole Shopping Monte-Carlo is a must-visit shopping center, featuring brands like Roberto Cavalli, Isabel Marant, Hugo Boss, Gucci, and Kenzo surrounded by a warm and covered environment.

Another exceptional place is the Patio des Joailliers at the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo, with numerous high-end jewelry brands. Some of them offer special gifts for the occasion, such as the “Inlay” Coeur earrings by Boghossian, with two heart-shaped diamonds. Finally, for those with a more modest budget, rue Grimaldi, in the Condamine district, is full of more affordable boutiques like Maje and Claudie Pierlot.

  1. Couple Photoshoot

Capture your love surrounded by the elegance of the Hotel Hermitage with the “Instant Romantique” offer. This 5-star hotel will serve as the backdrop for a one-hour photoshoot conducted by a professional. You can pose in front of the legendary Eiffel Cupola, on the terrace of the Crystal Lounge, or in the intimacy of a luxurious room. An extraordinary and unconventional gift idea.

And what would you prefer to do?
