Women’s Day at the MAR in Ventimiglia: The appointment for Saturday, March 8, 2025

Once again, on the occasion of International Women’s Day, the “Girolamo Rossi” Civic Museum, in collaboration with the Municipality of Ventimiglia and the Intemelia Section of the IISL, organizes the event “Apronia Marcella and the Others. Voices and Stories of Women for Ventimiglia,” now in its twelfth edition, to be held on Saturday, March 8.

The event will begin at 4:00 PM with welcome greetings from Milena Raco, Councillor for Social-Educational Services, Inclusion Policies, and Gender of the Municipality of Ventimiglia. During the event, seven women, active in various sectors of society and the Intemelia community, will share their experiences in a dialogue that will explore the role of women in today’s society in the Western Liguria. The speakers will include: Giannina Borelli, President of Unitre Intemelia, Claudia Claudiano, journalist and cultural operator, Gilda de Villa, entrepreneur at CLS Controlli e Lavori Speciali SRL, Annarita Manera, entrepreneur at Cactus Mania, Deliana Misale, involved in women’s cancer volunteer work, Cristina Ricci, volunteer at Caritas Intemelia, and Daniela Gandolfi, Museum Curator and Archaeologist Manager at IISL. The meeting will be moderated by Fabio Piuma of MAR.

Admission is free, and each woman attending will receive a small floral gift. Additionally, on Saturday, March 8, all female visitors will have free access to the museum.
