(WOMEN’S ROLES)
Theater
Madame Bovary in a funnier and shorter version
Based on Gustave Flaubert
Friday, March 7, 2025 – 8:00 PM
Marion Pouvreau and Camille Broquet take on a great classic and present it to you in a café-theater atmosphere.
Their goal: to tell the romantic life of one of the most famous characters in French literature: Emma Bovary.
Their challenge: to do so without a moment of boredom.
The actresses reinterpret Gustave Flaubert’s masterpiece with humor, heavily using the codes of improvisation and absurdity. A way to reconcile students and their parents with a novel that caused scandal when it was released.
For all. From 12 years old.

La Cuenta
By Marina Gomes
Friday, March 14, 2025 – 8:00 PM
La Cuenta, at the heart of Marseille’s current events, addresses the issue of deadly revenge killings from the perspective of women, mothers, sisters, those who remain, and for whom the dead are not just numbers. On stage, three women cross paths and support each other through mourning, the desire for vengeance, resistance, and resilience.
Marina Gomes enriches her work through encounters in the comunas of Medellín, Colombia, with collectives working to pacify areas torn apart by ultraviolence, particularly through artistic and memorial actions.
For all.

COMING HOME BEFORE MIDNIGHT?
Dance
We Are Not All Cinderellas
By Eugénie Andrin
Friday, March 28, 2025 – 8:00 PM
In her new creation, Eugénie Andrin deconstructs the codes of classical dance, one of her trademarks. She experiments with the academic use of pointe work and plays with symbols of femininity, such as high heels, to explore a contemporary language and unique gestures.
Through this piece, Eugénie Andrin pays homage to women. Under the effect of light and the surreal coexistence of pointe and heel, the dancers, transfigured, alternate between being carnal, enigmatic, or immaterial creatures.
For all. From 10 years old.
