Next year, Nice will host a prestigious event dedicated to sustainable boating. Christian Estrosi and Alain Pochon, President of Grand Pavois Organisation, have announced the first edition of Nice Boating Tomorrow, which will take place at Quai Infernet in the port of Nice from Thursday, October 30 to Sunday, November 2, 2025.
This four-day event will feature exhibitors both on land and at sea, with demonstrations and practical trials. The event will include round tables, conferences, meetings, and product presentations. Prominent figures from the maritime and environmental sectors will attend to discuss and share ideas, with the aim of promoting a transition to responsible boating.
The environmental transition is also a priority in the boating sector, which is committed to reducing its ecological footprint. This transition involves the entire lifecycle of pleasure boats, from design to construction, dismantling, use, and maintenance, including ports, which must adapt to this change.
The boating sector plays a crucial role in the economy of French coastal regions, such as the Métropole Nice Côte d’Azur, and is fundamental for the environmental transition. With 150,000 direct and indirect jobs, over 5,000 companies, and a strong international presence with an export rate of over 70% of production, the French boating industry represents an invaluable asset for the country’s blue economy.
