The 37th Fête du Terroir 2024 in Saint Laurent du Var

On Sunday, October 6, 2024, Saint Laurent du Var will once again host the traditional Fête du Terroir, now in its 37th edition. This year, the event will be dedicated to the fascinating Celtic universe, offering a wide range of activities for the whole family at the Town Hall square, Parc Layet, and Avenue of November 11.

The event will feature various shows and entertainment: parades, a petting farm, a Provençal market, demonstrations of traditional crafts, creative workshops, Irish dances, Celtic concerts, medieval combat, archery, and many more activities for both children and adults.

Admission and all entertainment are free.

Fête du Terroir 2024 will offer a rich parade showcasing the region, a reconstruction of Celtic settings, children’s workshops, a large petting farm with animals, educational activities and nature-themed stands at Parc Layet, as well as a large market of local products.

• Celtic Grand Parade – 10:30 AM, Square Bènes: forest stilt walkers, Breton madness, musical elves, Irish dances, and Mediterranean folklore.
• Provençal Traditions – Avenue of November 11: food and craft market, Parc Layet:
  • Petting farm and discovery of donkeys
  • Nature-themed workshops
  • Show cooking and Blind Test by “La Briquetterie” at 12:00 PM
  • Glass blower, activities around fruit
  • Provençal folk group and leathercraft workshop
  • Provençal cuisine food areas.
