Pink October is a national campaign aimed at raising awareness among the French population about the importance of breast cancer screening and raising funds for medical research.
The City of Nice has made cancer prevention one of its priorities, promoting not only breast cancer screening but also a program dedicated to prevention and the promotion of physical activity for health purposes. Throughout the month of October, various initiatives will be organized to promote physical activity as a preventive tool:
Additionally, the ILoveNice structure, located at Rauba Capeu, will be adorned with a large pink ribbon throughout the month of October, inviting passersby to take photos and share them on social media using the hashtag #niceenrose, in support of the fight against breast cancer.
Finally, a major awareness campaign will be launched throughout the city to remind women of the importance of regular breast cancer screening.
