As every year, the magic of Christmas will settle in the Principality. The 2024 Christmas Village “Pain d’épices et gourmandises” will awaken the taste buds and delight both young and old. From Friday, December 6, 2024, at 4:00 PM, to Sunday, January 5, 2025, on Quai Albert I, the Municipality invites the public to immerse themselves in a festive and sweet world where the Christmas spirit blends with the delights of childhood.

In this magical and tasty universe, visitors can enjoy 21 food stalls and 24 selling houses, not to mention the attractions: the Ferris wheel, the fir tree carousel, the slide, Santa’s sleigh rides, and a children’s Christmas carousel. A new feature this year is a Christmas-themed fun path.

As in previous years, walks through the heart of the Christmas Village will offer a variety of wandering performances: mascots, stilt walkers, dance groups, and costumed artists will move around the Quai, transporting spectators into a dreamlike world. To make the celebrations even more memorable, afternoon shows on the main stage and enchanting evening music sessions will provide families with unforgettable moments.

For children, creative and fun workshops (cookie decorating, face painting, etc.) will be held at the Animation Cottage on weekends and every day during school holidays from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, with free access. Just before loading his sleigh, Santa Claus will meet the public on Monday, December 23, and Tuesday, December 24, from 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM. On New Year’s Eve, December 31, a major music event with two DJs will take place from 9:00 PM.

This year, to accommodate more visitors, the main stage will be moved to the northern side of the Quai (next to the Ubaldi sign), outside the Christmas Village, allowing room for an additional 2,000 people.

Finally, the traditional fireworks display will return this year at midnight to conclude the festive season in style.

In addition to the Christmas Village, the Sports Village will open its doors on the south dock of the Port of Monaco from December 20, 2024, to January 5, 2025, with attractions such as the cable car, the Ninja course, the climbing tree, and climbing walls.

The full program will soon be available on the Municipality’s website: www.mairie.mc.
