The 2024 edition of the Monaco Yacht Show, the international luxury yachting exhibition held since 1991 at Port Hercule in Monte Carlo under the High Patronage of HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco, has come to a close.

The key word: sustainability.

It was accompanied by design, architecture, and innovation, all condensed onboard the largest and most beautiful sea giants. A show where everything is perfectly elegant: even the most exclusive areas, such as the Upper Deck Lounge, VIP Entrances, and the Terraces overlooking Parvis Piscine, were furnished by Paola Lenti, a reference point for indoor and outdoor furniture, including for the nautical and yachting sectors. A sector that never ceases to amaze, both in sailing and motor yachts, thanks to the constant evolution in the search for novelty.

NautorSwan

In sailing, NautorSwan stands out, a shipyard 60% owned by the Sanlorenzo group and 40% by Leonardo Ferragamo – a dream for sailors – which debuted its Swan 88 in Monte Carlo, the first model with hybrid electric propulsion. This was made possible thanks to a collaboration with Torqeedo, the world leader in electric and hybrid propulsion, which provided its fully integrated Deep Blue system. The Swan 88 relied on German Frers for naval architecture, Misa Poggi for interior design, and Lucio Micheletti, Micheletti + Partners, for exterior design. The 88-foot yacht features a custom 120 kW electric drive system and 160 kWh of energy storage. This equipment allows for silent cruising at a maximum speed of 11.4 knots.

Tankoa Yacht

On the motor side, there’s a new entry from the Genoa-based shipyard owned by the Orsi family, Tankoa Yacht. The T580 Diamond Binta, a 58-meter vessel of style and luxury, chic and glamour. Born from the collaboration between Paszkowski Design Studio and Tankoa, it showcases timeless design combined with cutting-edge solutions, the result of teamwork between the client, designer, and shipyard. With this superyacht, Tankoa Yachts is ready to sail the seas of the world, promoting the Made in Italy of luxury yachting.

In the meantime, the Principality is already preparing for the next edition in 2025.
