The history of fire preparation is as old as humanity itself. Through a retrospective of techniques, we will examine both traditional fire-starting methods and more modern and original ones.
Fire is the result of a chemical reaction, but it has always fascinated humans. The earliest real traces of fireplaces date back to 400,000 years ago and attest to the domestic use of fire by humans. Today, this vital element is taken for granted. However, it marks a turning point in human evolution.
