From Friday 17th November 2023 to Sunday 7th April 2024, at the Nouveau Musée National de Monaco – Villa Paloma.
Pier Paolo Calzolari is known for the formal originality of his multidisciplinary practice (painting, sculpture, but also performances understood as “acts of passion”), which often resort to the use of organic materials such as tobacco leaves, fire, or frost to create “installation-works” that question the boundaries of contemporary art. A retrospective exhibition, “Ideal House” is a rare opportunity to discover the world of an artist who has marked the history of art through his often unconventional approach to various practices of the plastic arts.
