Immagine SANLORENZO Monaco welcomes the first exhibition “FLOW”

Art at the heart of the MONACO YACHT SHOW!
From September 25 to 27, the Sanlorenzo lounge will host the first exhibition “FLOW” imagined by the artist DOMINIK DRYGAS. An opportunity for visitors to appreciate yachting in the Principality from a new perspective… through the various paintings that will be on display.
An innovative and charitable project benefiting the association fighting against HIV, FIGHT AIDS MONACO.
“I immediately felt like this was my place, like I was at home here.” Since he settled in Monaco six years ago, Dominik Drygas has fallen in love with this “little piece of paradise…”, its lifestyle, and its traditions. From September 25 to 27, the Polish artist wishes to highlight one of these traditions through the “FLOW” exhibition.
Yachting… an exceptional world that is an integral part of the country’s historical and cultural heritage. “We have the privilege of being here, close to some of the most prestigious yachts in the world,” acknowledges the 48-year-old painter.
Having already held an exhibition (“Renaissance” at Marius last July), Dominik Drygas has decided to ride the wave with the organization of this new event, which is expected to captivate the public during this 33rd edition of the MONACO YACHT SHOW.
“During this special time of the year, the Principality welcomes international enthusiasts to celebrate the beauty of yachting in an exceptional setting, alongside professionals in the sector. With this exhibition, I am delighted to participate in the festivities by using my field of expertise, art.”
And for a good cause!
Six paintings, created especially for the occasion by the artist, will be displayed at the Sanlorenzo lounge*. All of them represent the current trend, yachting.
The aim is to allow observers to appreciate their favorite activity from a different angle, through a unique experience.

THE PROGRAM:

  • September 25: Private inauguration evening (Sanlorenzo lounge), vernissage.
Guests will be able to discover Dominik Drygas’ paintings while enjoying a cocktail dinner.
  • September 26/27: For two days, the artworks will remain as initially displayed (the venue is located near Port Hercule), and the “FLOW” exhibition will be open to the general public (especially visitors to the MONACO YACHT SHOW…).

Very much aligned with charitable values, the organizers have also decided, with this event, to shine a spotlight on FIGHT AIDS MONACO… which celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2024.

As such, one of the paintings will be donated* to the association fighting against HIV, founded and chaired by H.S.H. Princess Stéphanie (official presentation during the vernissage).
CEO of Sanlorenzo Med, Ferruccio Rossi, is thrilled with this initiative. “It is a true honor for us to open our doors to a talented artist and a local entity such as FIGHT AIDS MONACO. The venue is at the heart of the Principality… being available to host and support such a noble cause is part of our duty as residents.”
A sentiment shared by Dominik Drygas, who is delighted to have the opportunity to convey “such important messages” through his work. “Ongoing support for people living with HIV is essential; we must continue on this path to assist those who need it as best as we can.
It is a pride for me to promote the values of solidarity dear to FIGHT AIDS MONACO through this event.”
During the inauguration evening, a video showcasing the actions of the association is also scheduled to be shown at the Sanlorenzo lounge… to the guests.
“This exhibition is a valuable opportunity to highlight the fight of H.S.H. Princess Stéphanie against all forms of stigmatization of vulnerable people, especially those living with HIV. It is a cause she has championed for over twenty years with FIGHT AIDS MONACO.
Dominik Drygas’ initiative helps strengthen our awareness campaign by reaching a new audience… and provides significant support to the many projects carried out by the association,” says Christophe Glasser, director of FIGHT AIDS MONACO.
Art and yachting enthusiasts, meet us from September 25 to 27 in the heart of the Principality at the Sanlorenzo lounge, to enjoy the “FLOW” exhibition by Dominik Drygas…

  • The funds raised from the sale of this painting will be fully donated to FIGHT AIDS MONACO.
