Cannes is preparing to experience three days of music, energy and entertainment with one of the most ambitious editions ever of Les Plages Électroniques 2026, the renowned electronic music festival held on the beach in front of the Palais des Festivals. From 7 to 9 August 2026, the Croisette will become the beating heart of the international electronic scene as the festival celebrates its 20th anniversary with a special edition set to mark a new chapter in its history.

Founded in 2006 as a summer event dedicated to electronic music lovers, Les Plages Électroniques Cannes has grown into one of Europe’s leading beach festivals, combining world-class artists, a Mediterranean atmosphere and a format that goes far beyond a traditional concert.

For its anniversary edition, the festival is scaling up with a more ambitious experience: new spaces, innovative stage designs, expanded areas for visitors and a programme designed to transform Cannes’ beach into a temporary city dedicated to music.

Les Plages Électroniques 2026 expands: Cannes becomes an open-air festival destination

One of the key highlights of the 2026 edition is the expansion of the festival grounds, which will extend over more than 40,000 square metres thanks to the integration of new areas such as the Esplanade Pantiero and the Gare Maritime.

This evolution is not only about increasing capacity, but also about reinventing the festival experience.

The Esplanade Pantiero will become a vibrant lifestyle area featuring:

  • relaxation zones and shaded spaces;
  • a dedicated food court;
  • immersive installations and activities;
  • areas dedicated to international brands and partners.

The Gare Maritime will host a parallel festival village with an Electronik Market, creative spaces and a stage dedicated to house music, further expanding the event’s musical universe.

The result will be a festival format closer to the world’s leading international events, where music, design, fashion, food and entertainment come together in one unique experience.

A global line-up to celebrate 20 years of electronic music

The 20th anniversary edition of Les Plages Électroniques Cannes will feature a world-class line-up bringing together some of the biggest names in contemporary electronic music.

The opening day, Friday 7 August 2026, will be headlined by Martin Garrix, one of the most influential figures in global dance music. The programme will also include Sonny Fodera and Mosimann, while the official after party will be hosted by the refined sounds of Mind Against.

Saturday 8 August will focus on the fusion of EDM, techno and emerging electronic sounds, with performances by Marshmello and techno icon Amelie Lens, alongside rising talents and hybrid performances reflecting the latest trends in global electronic music.

The grand finale on Sunday 9 August will bring the energy of DJ Snake to the Croisette with his collective “Pardon My French”, joined by artists including Salvatore Ganacci and Bunt.. The closing after party will be led by Maceo Plex.

A programme that confirms the festival’s international reputation and its role as a key meeting point for electronic music enthusiasts.

New stages, immersive scenography and technology: the future of festivals is experiential

The 2026 edition will introduce new stages and visual concepts designed to create a fully immersive experience.

The goal is to transform every moment of the festival into a multisensory journey combining:
