The year 2026 is set to be a landmark one for the Yacht Club de Monaco, reaffirming its role as an international hub for advanced yachting, in line with the vision “Monaco, Capital of Advanced Yachting.” In the months ahead, the Club will host a rich calendar of sporting events, strategic forums and initiatives focused on sustainable transition, turning Port Hercule into a true open-air laboratory for the future of yachting.
Conceived as a platform for dialogue and knowledge transfer, the 2026 season places sporting excellence, youth training, technological innovation and maritime heritage at its core, offering a series of unmissable international events.
Among the first highlights of the season are the Monaco Sportsboat Winter Series, scheduled for February 12–15 and March 5–8, which launch the racing calendar by attracting top-level crews. These will be followed by the 42nd Primo Cup – Trophée UBS, from March 5–8, one of the most eagerly awaited one-design regattas in the Mediterranean, bringing together professional sailors and experienced amateurs.
On February 5, the 18th Economic Symposium – La Belle Classe Superyachts will offer an exclusive forum for yacht owners and industry professionals. Discussions will focus on “Yachting 2035: the economic transformation of the sector in response to new environmental regulations,” addressing the major challenges ahead.
From March 21 to 24, the Principality will host the first Monaco, Capital of Advanced Yachting Rendezvous, organized in collaboration with the Explorers Club of New York. Four days dedicated to responsible exploration and ocean conservation, featuring key moments such as the Day of Exploration (March 23), the 30th Captains’ Forum, and the presentation of the 6th YCM Explorer Awards (March 24), honoring yacht owners committed to protecting marine ecosystems.
On April 2, the Superyacht Chef Competition will once again highlight one of the most emblematic professions in modern yachting: the onboard chef. Chaired by Philippe Etchebest, two-Michelin-starred chef and Meilleur Ouvrier de France, the competition celebrates excellence, creativity and professional expertise.
A cornerstone of the summer calendar, the Monaco Energy Boat Challenge, taking place from July 8–11, stands out as one of the key events of 2026. Students, engineers and professionals from around the world will present and test solutions related to alternative energies, propulsion systems, autonomy and safety, reinforcing Monaco’s position as a global leader in sustainable yachting.
This momentum will continue in autumn with the Monaco Smart & Sustainable Marina Rendezvous, scheduled for September 20–21, focusing on practical solutions for smarter, more connected and environmentally responsible marinas.
On July 4, 2026, the Club’s maritime heritage will take center stage internationally as Tuiga (1909) and Viola (1908) participate in the celebrations marking the 250th anniversary of the United States Declaration of Independence. A symbolic moment blending maritime tradition, cultural diplomacy and intergenerational transmission.
From a sporting perspective, the summer will conclude with the 21st Palermo–Montecarlo Race, held from August 18–23, a flagship offshore sailing event, alongside continued commitments to inclusive sailing through the Navicap Challenge – Trophée Elena Sivoldaeva.
With this 2026 calendar, the Yacht Club de Monaco offers a series of must-see events, combining sporting performance, technological innovation, sustainability and maritime heritage. A year designed to shape, event after event, the future of yachting.
