After a first visit last March, a delegation from the Government of the Macao Special Administrative Region (China) was once again present in the Principality on April 28, 2025, to attend the launch of the Monaco Clean Fusion Forum, organized at the Yacht Club of Monaco under the aegis of the Prince Albert II Foundation.
On the sidelines of this Forum, Monaco’s Ambassador to China, H.E. Mrs. Marie-Pascale BOISSON, organized a bilateral meeting between the Chinese delegation and several representatives of Monegasque entities involved in the Principality’s economic, technological, and scientific sectors.
Participants shared information about their activities, expertise, and mutual commitments. The discussions highlighted Monaco’s know-how in the search for innovative solutions and emerging technologies, particularly those likely to support the ecological transition in various cutting-edge sectors, such as energy production and storage or even biomedical research focused on the health-environment axis.
Among those who took part in the meeting were Mr. Guillaume ROSE, Executive Director General of the Monaco Economic Board; Mrs. Sandrine SAUVAL, Director of MonacoTech; Mrs. Delphine FRAPPIER, Secretary General of the Scientific Centre of Monaco; Mr. Eric VILLALONGA, President of the Chamber of Renewable Energies and Ecology of Monaco; and Mr. Mirco ALBISETTI, President of Aton Green Monaco.
The delegation from the Government of Macao, led by the Secretary for Economy and Finance, Mr. Tai Kin IP, included Dr. Che Weng KEON, President of the Scientific and Technological Development Fund Committee, and Mr. Iong Nin FAI, head of the Macao Economic and Technological Development Bureau.
