The AMSN participated in the 36th annual conference of the Forum of Incident Response and Security Teams (FIRST), an association that brings together 748 incident response teams representing 111 countries, held from June 9 to 14 in Fukuoka, Japan.
This very constructive and beneficial edition provided Bruno VALENTIN, head of CERT-MC (AMSN’s incident response team), and Frédéric FAUTRIER, Director of AMSN, the opportunity to exchange with their counterparts on topics related to cybersecurity, security incident detection, and mitigation measures.
Informal meetings also took place with representatives from the incident response teams of CAC40 companies (Air Liquide, Crédit Agricole, Schneider Electric, Thales, Vinci, TotalEnergies) and French public entities (Banque de France, ANSSI).
On the sidelines of the conference, CERT-MC participated in a cybersecurity competition where participants compete to solve puzzles and digital security problems. 102 teams were engaged in the competition, which took place from June 10 to 14, in a hybrid format, both on-site and remotely, 24 hours a day. CERT-MC finished in 4th place.
