Monaco is reaffirming its commitment to tennis and the next generation of champions. From 21 to 24 October 2026, the Monte-Carlo Country Club will once again provide the setting for the Tennis Europe Junior Masters Monte-Carlo, a key event on the European junior tennis calendar.
Held in the Principality for the sixth consecutive year, the competition brings together the eight top-ranked boys and eight top-ranked girls in each of the under-14 and under-16 categories of the Tennis Europe Junior Tour. This annual season finale highlights the young players who have made their mark throughout the year, giving them the opportunity to compete at the highest European level in their respective age groups.
Matches will be played on the renowned clay courts of the Monte-Carlo Country Club, an iconic venue in international tennis and the home of the prestigious Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters, an ATP Masters 1000 tournament.
By hosting the competition, the Monegasque club provides young athletes with an exceptional setting in which to conclude their season. The tournament also offers tennis fans an opportunity to discover the future stars of European tennis and follow their development in a highly competitive international environment.
The history of the Tennis Europe Junior Masters already includes several players who have gone on to become major names on the professional circuit, including Rafael Nadal, Alexander Zverev, Kim Clijsters and Belinda Bencic. Their careers highlight the important role junior tennis plays in developing tomorrow’s champions.
The Monegasque Tennis Federation has announced the return of the competition with great enthusiasm. The event is held under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco and under the presidency of Mélanie-Antoinette de Massy, President of the Monegasque Tennis Federation and the Monte-Carlo Country Club.
“It is with immense pleasure that we prepare to welcome the Tennis Europe Junior Masters Monte-Carlo for the sixth consecutive year. I am delighted to welcome these young champions to the Principality, as they are undoubtedly the future elite of world tennis,” says Mélanie-Antoinette de Massy.
This new edition reflects the Principality’s commitment to supporting the development of junior tennis and increasing the visibility of emerging talent across Europe.
The girls’ competition features the eight highest-ranked players in each of the two age categories.
Christine Graf’s inclusion means that Monaco will have a representative in the under-16 girls’ draw.
The boys’ draws will also feature eight players in each age category.
The draws feature young athletes from across Europe, reflecting the diversity of national tennis development programmes represented on the junior circuit.
With its sixth edition, the Tennis Europe Junior Masters further strengthens the Monte-Carlo Country Club’s role in developing and promoting international tennis, starting at junior level.
Over four days, from 21 to 24 October, the season’s leading young players will gather in the Principality to compete in the annual Tennis Europe Junior Tour finale. Combining high-level competition, international experience and sporting ambition, the tournament represents an important milestone in these athletes’ development.
