From 14 February to 1 March, the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco offers a special school holiday programme designed for children and families looking for an educational and entertaining experience centred on the sea. At the heart of the activities is “Mediterranean 2050”, the immersive exhibition dedicated to the future of the Mediterranean, which has already welcomed over 575,000 visitors.

Activities for children: workshops and immersive experiences

Throughout the school holidays, the Museum presents a varied programme of educational workshops, interactive activities and immersive experiences, aimed at introducing visitors to Mediterranean biodiversity and raising awareness about the protection of marine ecosystems.
Among the highlights is ImmerSEAve VR, a virtual reality experience that allows visitors to dive into a protected marine environment using state-of-the-art headsets. Popular activities such as Bord de Mer animal observation and the interactive Escape Game also return.

Club Oceano: weekly programme for children aged 6 to 12

The Club Oceano, designed for children aged 6 to 12, returns with a weekly holiday format tailored specifically to the school break. Activities are organised by age group (6–8 years and 9–12 years) and revolve around two thematic programmes:

  • Mediterranean Expedition
A journey into the species, habitats and secrets of the Mediterranean Sea.

  • At the Heart of Coral Reefs
An exploration of coral reef ecosystems, rich in colour and essential to marine life.

Guided by scientific educators, young participants take part in activities combining science, hands-on experimentation, play and creativity. Each child receives an explorer’s pouch containing creative materials and tools to observe and identify marine species, allowing the experience to continue at home.

Special winter holiday offer

To make the experience more accessible to families, the Museum is offering a special winter holiday promotion: with the purchase of one adult ticket, the child’s ticket is free.
