Less than a month before the start of the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters, David Massey, Tournament Director, officially unveiled today the list of players participating in this 118th edition. The press luncheon, organized in collaboration with Lenôtre, was held at the Hôtel de Poulpry, in the historic district of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, in the presence of Miss Melanie-Antoinette de Massy, President of the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters and the Monte-Carlo Country Club.
The tournament, which will take place from April 5 to April 13, 2025, on the legendary clay courts of the Monte-Carlo Country Club, is the first ATP Masters 1000 tournament of the European clay court season.
Just like the Formula 1 Grand Prix and the Monaco Yacht Show, the entire Principality will be immersed in the excitement of the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters for nine days, marking the start of the summer season. Last year, the tournament welcomed over 148,000 spectators.
David Massey took the opportunity to thank all tournament partners, especially the title sponsor, Rolex. In 2025, the tournament extended its partnerships with BNP Paribas, Replay, Malongo, Onet, Lancaster, Valmora, and Monaco Telecom. Additionally, the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters welcomes a new partner: the luxury eyewear brand Oliver Peoples.
In 2024, the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters generated more than 240 million views on social media and attracted 36 million television viewers worldwide. This year, Eurosport will once again broadcast all matches. France Télévisions will complement the coverage by airing one match per day on its france.tv platform and the final on France 4, alongside numerous other international broadcasters, including Sky Italia, Sky UK, and Sky Germany.
Except for world No. 1 Jannik Sinner, who is suspended for three months starting February 15, 2025, David Massey announced that this 118th edition will feature 9 of the world’s top 10 ATP players.
Confirmed players include:
In total, 42 of the top 45 players will compete on the Monte-Carlo clay.

The main draw will be completed by seven qualifiers and four wild cards, bringing the total number of participants to 56. Additionally, 28 teams will compete in the doubles event.
Founded in 1897, the tournament continues to innovate to provide an immersive experience for both players and spectators. Key updates include:
The Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters reaffirms its commitment to social responsibility with the “Points for Change” initiative, in partnership with BNP Paribas. In 2024, this program raised over €37,000 for GEMLUC (Monaco’s Business Group in the Fight Against Cancer). This year, the tournament will continue to promote solidarity and sustainability initiatives.
The 118th edition will officially kick off with the draw ceremony at the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort, the tournament’s official hotel, on Friday, April 4, at 5:00 PM, in the presence of reigning champion Stefanos Tsitsipas.
The opening weekend will feature a mini-tennis exhibition on Saturday at Mareterra, the Principality’s new district, offering a unique experience for young fans. Sunday will be dedicated to children, providing them with an immersive introduction to the tournament.
