On Tuesday, October 21, Ms. Isabelle BERRO-AMADEÏ, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, hosted a luncheon at the Hôtel Hermitage in honor of five newly accredited Ambassadors to the Principality of Monaco:
H.E. Mr. Joshua ZARKA, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel, formerly Deputy Director General for Strategic Affairs;
H.E. Mr. António da CONCEIÇÃO, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, also accredited to the United Nations Office in Geneva and to the Swiss Confederation;
H.E. Mr. Arman KHACHATRYAN, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia, who served as Permanent Representative of Armenia to the Council of Europe from 2021 to 2024;
H.E. Mr. Ian SIELECKI, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Argentina, former Head of Speech and Strategy for the Minister of Foreign Affairs (2018–2019) and Advisor on matters related to France;
H.E. Mr. Francisco PIMENTEL DE MELLO RIBEIRO de MENEZES, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Portugal, previously posted in Berlin to the Federal Republic of Germany.
Earlier that morning, the diplomats presented their Letters of Credence to H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince.
During the luncheon, they exchanged views with Ms. Isabelle BERRO-AMADEÏ, in the presence of Mr. Guillaume ROSE, CEO of the Monaco Economic Board.
The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the bonds of friendship and cooperation that unite the Principality of Monaco with each of these countries.
