The collective commitment of all the actors involved in the cause of women was the focus of the International Women’s Rights Day 2024, entitled “POWHER.” The launch of this day, organized by the Committee for the Promotion and Protection of Women’s Rights, was carried out by H.S.H. Prince Albert II accompanied by H.S.H. Princess Stéphanie. To mark their commitment, Their Highnesses placed their wishes for women’s rights on a wish tree installed in the center of the Léo Ferré Space. They were accompanied by numerous personalities representing the Monegasque institutions of the Principality, as well as members and partners of the Committee. Throughout the day, various activities were proposed highlighting the cause of women through four themes: education, health, work, and sports. The closing conference was hosted by Maître Louise Cordeau, President of the Quebec Women’s Council, who presented the progress and persistent challenges in terms of equality in Quebec. The day ended with two concerts and a unique sound and light show.
