Monaco once again confirms its role as an international leader in ocean protection and the development of a sustainable Blue Economy, hosting two high-profile events focused on dialogue, innovation and global cooperation. From 27 to 29 May, the Principality will welcome decision-makers, researchers, entrepreneurs and investors to address major environmental challenges and outline concrete solutions for the preservation of marine ecosystems.

Organised by the Fondation Prince Albert II de Monaco and the Institut océanographique de Monaco, these two events represent a key moment of exchange between science, politics and the economy, with the aim of turning knowledge into action and accelerating the transition towards more responsible development models.

The first event, the Monaco Blue Initiative, will take place on 27 May at the Musée océanographique de Monaco. This day will be dedicated to strategic dialogue between scientists and policy-makers, focusing on current and future challenges related to ocean governance. Key topics include the sustainable management of marine resources, biodiversity protection and the strengthening of international cooperation.

On 28 and 29 May, the Grimaldi Forum will host the Blue Economy and Finance Forum, a major platform for dialogue between political institutions, the business community and the financial sector. Investors, banks, sovereign and pension funds will discuss financial tools, investment strategies and economic models capable of supporting a regenerative Blue Economy, combining economic growth with the protection of marine environments.

Through these two events, Monaco reaffirms its concrete commitment to responsible ocean governance and sustainability-oriented finance, strengthening its role as an international hub for dialogue and collective action on the future of the oceans.
