Mandelieu steps into the heart of the festive season with an atmosphere filled with the scents of wood, snow and maple syrup. From today, December 23 until December 28, Place de France and the town centre host the Christmas Village, a magical setting inspired by the Canadian Great North, designed to delight visitors of all ages.
Sparkling lights, Nordic decorations and Christmas melodies guide guests through a festive journey of flavours and entertainment. At the heart of the village are 10 gourmet chalets, offering a wide selection of sweet and savoury specialties, perfect for a delicious break or a festive aperitif.
The highlight of this year’s edition is the Canadian Sugar Shack (Cabane à Sucre du Canada), an authentic maple sugar hut that transports visitors straight to the forests of Canada. Surrounded by live music and storytelling by the fire, guests can watch the preparation of the famous tire à la neige, the traditional hot maple syrup poured onto snow — a truly immersive family experience.
Each day, the programme continues with shows, entertainment and concerts, creating a warm and lively atmosphere. The popular Apéros Live, held from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm, combine gourmet flavours with live performances, ranging from pop-rock and Latin sounds to DJ sets for the grand finale on Sunday, December 28.
Special attention is given to younger visitors with the Santa Claus Village, a dedicated space featuring:
– meet-and-greet and photos with Santa Claus,
– creative and culinary workshops with the elves,
– face painting sessions,
– Christmas story readings,
– hands-on activities to create decorations to take home.
To complete the festive experience, visitors can also enjoy a roller skating rink and a funfair, with rides and attractions open until January 3, 2026, extending the holiday spirit beyond Christmas.
