In the heart of summer, Grasse transforms into an enchanted garden to honour the flower that best tells its story: jasmine. From August 1st to 3rd, 2025, the Fête du Jasmin returns — one of the most beloved and long-standing events on the French Riviera — blending fragrance, colour, art, and tradition in a truly unique atmosphere.

Three festive days full of activities for all ages celebrate Jasminum Grandiflorum — cultivated for centuries on the hills of Grasse — and the perfumery culture that has made the city world-famous.

Friday, August 1st – Scents and Lights Under the Stars
Festivities kick off at 7 p.m. on Cours Honoré Cresp with the “Soirée Bulles parfumées”: an evening of music and dancing amidst scented bubbles with DJ Fred Rebuffo. The night concludes at 10:15 p.m. with a spectacular fireworks display visible from the Jardin des Plantes.

Saturday, August 2nd – Flowers, Music, and the Grand Parade
The day begins at 8 a.m. with the marché aux fleurs in Place aux Aires, offering fresh flowers and aromatic plants.

In the afternoon, the historic centre comes alive with roaming street performances by musicians, dancers, jugglers, and tightrope walkers.

At 9 p.m., the highlight of the festival begins: the flower parade (Corso fleuri) with decorated floats, dazzling costumes, a flower battle, and fragrant sprays launched by the local firefighters.

Sunday, August 3rd – Tradition, Flavours, and Fun
The day opens at 10 a.m. with a traditional Provençal mass in the old town, followed at noon by the classic grand aïoli, a local Provençal dish served in participating restaurants (reservation required).

From 1:30 p.m., the quirky and colourful Mondial Parfumé de Boules Carrées takes place — a square-boules tournament played in the narrow streets of the old town, blending fun, folklore, and friendly competition.

Adding a touch of charm to the event, the Festival’s Misses — like flowers among flowers — bring grace and elegance to this floral celebration.

The Fête du Jasmin is more than just a flower festival: it’s a journey through scent, history, and joie de vivre, in a city that has turned nature into art and hospitality into tradition.
