
The Musée d’Anthropologie préhistorique in Monaco, under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II, presents the temporary exhibition “From Toumaï to Sapiens”, an immersive display dedicated to the origins and evolution of the human species. The exhibition is open to the public until October 16, 2026, at the museum located on Boulevard du Jardin Exotique.
The exhibition offers a scientific and educational path that guides visitors through the main stages of human evolution, from early hominins to Homo sapiens.

The texts are written by science journalist Pedro Lima, with scientific supervision by paleoanthropologist François Marchal.
The project is developed in collaboration with leading research institutions, including the Musée de la Préhistoire de Solutré and the Institut de Paléontologie Humaine – Fondation Prince Albert Ier de Monaco.
These partnerships help enhance key findings and collections related to human origins and prehistoric research.

The exhibition is open daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
