The Department of Cultural Affairs Launches a Photography Contest for Ages 11 to 25
Theme: “Monaco’s Architectural Heritage”
The Department of Cultural Affairs is launching a photography contest for young people aged 11 to 25, focusing on the theme “Monaco’s Architectural Heritage”.
This initiative aims to engage young people in the preservation of Monaco’s heritage while promoting their artistic expression. It is part of the 2025 European Heritage Days program, which is dedicated to this theme.
Participants’ photographs should highlight Monaco’s architectural heritage through wide-angle views or detailed elements of architectural structures, including iconic buildings, residential complexes, roads, rail networks, esplanades, and even panoramic landscapes.
A panel of experts will select 15 photographs based on their artistic quality and the original perspective they offer on Monaco’s architectural heritage.
The selected photographs will be exhibited at the Grilles des Jardins Saint-Martin from Tuesday, June 3, to Sunday, October 5, 2025, coinciding with the European Heritage Days in Monaco.
A youth committee (ages 11 to 25) will award prizes to four of the selected photographs.
The contest is open to young people aged 11 to 25 who are Monégasque nationals, residents, students in Monaco, or employed in the Principality.
