The members of the first College of the Coordination and Monitoring Committee for the National Strategy to Combat Money Laundering, the Financing of Terrorism and the Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction, and Corruption met on Monday, April 7, under the chairmanship of Mr. Pierre-André Chiappori, Government Counselor – Minister of Finance and Economy.

Having submitted its first progress report to the FATF several weeks ago since being placed on the grey list, Monaco was commended for the significant progress made in various areas since April 2024.

Mr. Pierre-André Chiappori also emphasized the importance of maintaining the collective efforts made thus far in light of upcoming deadlines, particularly regarding the discussions to be held this month between the Monegasque delegation and representatives of the International Cooperation Review Group, known as the “ICRG Group.”

Lastly, the National Strategy regarding AML/CFT-P and its Action Plan for the 2025–2027 period were unanimously adopted by the members.
