As part of its commitment to environmental responsibility, Carrefour Fontvieille is stepping up its efforts to fight single-use plastic. Following the success of its June 2024 campaign — which saw 324 reusable containers sold — the store is once again raising awareness among its customers, this time with stronger impact and support from the Prince Albert II Foundation, BeMed (Beyond Plastic Med) and the Mission for Energy Transition (MTE).

Starting Monday, June 2, and running for one month, the initiative coincides with World Environment Day and the United Nations Ocean Conference. The goal? To reduce packaging waste and promote reusable options as part of the Principality’s ambitious “Zero Single-Use Plastic by 2030” strategy.
