A few weeks before the 7th Monaco e-Prix (April 27, 2024), the 14th Historic Grand Prix of Monaco (May 10-12, 2024), and the 81st Monaco Grand Prix (May 23-26, 2024), the Urban Planning Department will proceed, as every year, with the resurfacing of the roadway on a part of the circuit and other areas of the city, allowing the Principality to have a particularly well-maintained network of urban roads. A particularity this year is that this campaign will also be an opportunity to carry out some repairs on portions of the route that professional cyclists will take in the Principality during the start of the last stage of the Tour de France 2024, on July 21st.

To minimize the impact on traffic, these works will mainly take place at night starting from Monday, March 11, 2024, according to the following schedule:

  • Boulevard Albert Ier (traffic and parking neutralized) from Monday, March 11, to Wednesday, March 13, between 8:00 PM and 6:00 AM
  • Avenue du Port (traffic and parking neutralized) from Monday, March 11, to Tuesday, March 12, between 8:00 PM and 6:00 AM
  • Avenue des Spélugues (traffic and parking neutralized) from Tuesday, March 12, to Thursday, March 14, between 8:00 PM and 6:00 AM
  • Avenue J.F. Kennedy (at Luciana) (traffic and parking neutralized, tunnel Louis II closed) from Thursday, March 14, to Friday, March 15, between 8:00 PM and 6:00 AM
  • Avenue Princesse Grace (traffic and parking neutralized) from Monday, March 18, to Wednesday, March 20, between 8:00 PM and 6:00 AM
  • Tunnel Louis II and Portier (traffic and parking neutralized, tunnel closed) from Wednesday, March 20, to Friday, March 22, between 8:00 PM and 6:00 AM
  • Avenue Camille Blanc and Boulevard de France (traffic and parking neutralized) from Monday, March 25, to Wednesday, March 27, between 8:00 PM and 6:00 AM

The various bus lines affected by the works will be diverted from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM with prior information communicated to users and available on the CAM website. Emergency services and the police will be able to circulate in all work areas in case of emergencies. In addition to comprehensive information for residents, special attention will be given to users of private, public, and commercial parking; road signs will be adjusted, and any pedestrian route deviations will be identified by signage.
