Cagnes-sur-Mer will celebrate the European Days of Crafts from April 5th to April 7th, 2024, an unmissable event aimed at providing a better understanding of the craft sector.

Exhibition “Surprenant!” at the Musée du bijou contemporain, Espace Solidor – Place du château, Haut-de-Cagnes. The exhibition invites visitors to discover a selection of the city’s collection, showcasing the most surprising jewels. The emphasis is placed on unexpected and original materials that offer a unique sensory experience. Creators from various artistic backgrounds stand out for their boldness and overwhelming creativity. The city’s collection, comprising about 300 jewels, began over 20 years ago and includes works acquired during temporary exhibitions, enriched in 2019 with about 165 jewels thanks to the Alliages donation.

11:00 AM: visits to artists’ workshops: This tour will allow exploring the various artistic techniques of Haut-de-Cagnes artists, a place of artistic research since the 20th century under the impetus of Pierre-Auguste Renoir. Artists will show the streets of Haut-de-Cagnes, populated by a cosmopolitan community of artists.
