MONACO — A day dedicated to education, professionalism and the future of healthcare in Monaco. On Tuesday, 29 September 2026, the traditional IFSI and IFAS graduation and insignia ceremony was held in the presence of H.R.H. Princess of Hanover, patron of the Institut de Formation en Soins Infirmiers et Aides-Soignants.

The ceremony celebrated the achievements of 39 students, who completed their training with the support of the Institute’s teaching team and the management of the Centre Hospitalier Princesse Grace (CHPG). It was a particularly meaningful moment for the new healthcare professionals as they prepare to begin their careers in the medical and care sectors.

Among those attending were Christophe Robino, Government Counsellor-Minister of Social Affairs and Health, Franck Lobono, representing the President of the Conseil National, Caroline Rougaignon-Vernin, Chairwoman of the CHPG Board of Directors, Benoîte Rousseau de Sevelinges, Director of the Centre Hospitalier Princesse Grace, and Jacques Pastor, sponsor of the IFSI graduating class.

During the ceremony, Institute Director Candice VanbIervliet congratulated the 39 students, highlighting the rigorous work carried out throughout their training and the commitment required to enter professions involving significant responsibility and constant attention to patients.

The students’ speeches were equally heartfelt. Claya Cros, IFSI class valedictorian, and Estelle Zuritta, from the professional training programme, thanked the Institute’s teaching team and the CHPG management. They emphasized not only the importance of rigorous professional training, but also the central role of the caregiver-patient relationship in healthcare professions.

The ceremony marked the completion of two distinct training programmes. On one side, 25 nurses from the Jacques PASTOR Class of 2023–2026; on the other, 14 students from the 2025–2026 healthcare assistant class.

The diplomas were personally presented by H.R.H. Princess of Hanover, patron of the Institute, adding a significant institutional and symbolic dimension to the occasion.

The 29 September ceremony therefore celebrated not only the end of an academic journey, but also the arrival of a new generation of healthcare professionals. The graduates will now put the skills acquired during their training into practice, contributing to the quality of patient care and support within Monaco’s healthcare system.
