Roquebrune-Cap-Martin is preparing to become a meeting place for food lovers on the French Riviera. On Saturday, October 3 and Sunday, October 4, the Cap-Martin park will host the first edition of “Oui, Chef!”, a new festival celebrating cuisine, local products and the Mediterranean art de vivre.

The event is organised in partnership with the Disciples d’Escoffier Riviera Côte d’Azur, Corse & Monaco delegation and will be supported by renowned chef Marcel Ravin, a leading figure in the region’s culinary scene. Ravin heads the Blue Bay Marcel Ravin, awarded two Michelin stars, as well as Elsa, which holds one Michelin star. He will join a programme bringing together chefs, artisans, producers and food professionals.

Two days celebrating the gastronomy of the French Riviera

“Oui, Chef!” aims to create a meeting place for professionals and the public, focusing not only on cuisine itself, but also on the transmission of knowledge, the promotion of local ingredients and the discovery of culinary professions.

The setting is particularly distinctive: Cap-Martin park, surrounded by a centuries-old olive grove overlooking the Mediterranean. A gastronomic village with 24 stands will showcase producers, artisans and professionals from the food industry.

More than 15 chefs will take part in the event, alongside nine culinary demonstrations and masterclasses, three conferences and meetings exploring gastronomy, its history and its various skills and traditions. Five workshops and activities for children and families will also be offered.

Masterclasses, demonstrations and meetings with chefs

The two-day programme will give visitors the opportunity to watch chefs and culinary professionals at work and discover techniques, recipes and contemporary interpretations of Mediterranean cuisine.

The official opening will take place on Saturday, October 3 at 10 a.m., in the presence of Roquebrune-Cap-Martin Mayor Patrick Cesari, president of the Disciples Escoffier Riviera Côte d’Azur, Corse & Monaco delegation Jean-Claude Brugel, and Marcel Ravin.

Saturday’s programme will combine workshops, conferences and culinary demonstrations. Highlights include crispy chicken thigh with seasonal vegetable ravioli, presented by Jean-Claude Brugel, “Œuf parfait” by Alessandro Callegari, and “Tarte tatin de tomates caramélisées” by Jérôme Rigaud.

The afternoon will also feature a demonstration by Éric Brujan, followed by an induction ceremony for Marcel Ravin and new members of the Disciples Escoffier delegation.

Sunday: gnocchi, chocolate and more culinary demonstrations

The programme continues on Sunday, October 4, with further opportunities to explore culinary techniques and discover new recipes.

Workshops will include sessions on making gnocchi and colourful Cake Bowls, while culinary demonstrations will feature Marc Salichon, Marcel Ravin, Jean-Laurent Basile, Frédéric Ramos and Jean-Luc L’Hourre with Gilles Brunner.

A dedicated conference will explore the world of chocolate, while a second induction ceremony will welcome new members to the Disciples Escoffier Riviera Côte d’Azur, Corse & Monaco delegation.

A festival for children and families

“Oui, Chef!” is designed to appeal to a broad audience, including younger visitors. Cooking workshops and creative activities will be available throughout the weekend.

Children will also have the opportunity to decorate and personalise their own chef’s hat, turning their visit into an interactive and memorable experience.

Cooking workshops are available from €10, with registration at the Disciples Escoffier stand.

“Oui, Chef!” supports Octobre Rose

The first edition of the festival will also feature a charity initiative connected to Octobre Rose, the campaign dedicated to raising awareness and supporting breast cancer prevention and research.

During both days, Le Monde des Crêpes will offer crêpes and a Crêpe Suzette demonstration, while the preserves used for the initiative will be supplied by Les Gaillardises.

The proceeds from the entire stand, including sales and the Crêpe Suzette activity, will be donated to the Centre Communal d’Action Sociale (CCAS) of Roquebrune-Cap-Martin as part of Octobre Rose.

Local products and culinary craftsmanship

Alongside the chefs’ demonstrations, visitors will be able to meet local producers, artisans and food professionals, discover their products and learn more about their expertise.

The gastronomic village will therefore be a place for tasting, but also for conversation and the transmission of culinary know-how. This reflects the festival’s broader aim: bringing the public closer to the people who produce, reinterpret and preserve the region’s gastronomic traditions.

A new gastronomic event on the French Riviera

With “Oui, Chef!”, Roquebrune-Cap-Martin is launching a new event celebrating gastronomy and Mediterranean identity.

For two days, chefs, producers, artisans and food enthusiasts will come together in a programme combining cuisine, tastings, education, entertainment and solidarity.

The presence of Marcel Ravin and the Disciples Escoffier delegation gives the festival a strong culinary identity, while the family activities and Octobre Rose initiative extend the event beyond the gastronomic experience itself.

For anyone visiting the French Riviera on October 3 and 4, “Oui, Chef!” offers an opportunity to meet chefs and producers, watch live culinary demonstrations and discover Mediterranean gastronomy in the exceptional setting of Cap-Martin.
