The Jeune Chambre Economique de Monaco has opened applications for the 31st edition of the Concours de Création d’Entreprise, an initiative dedicated to young entrepreneurs and new business projects seeking to establish themselves in the Principality of Monaco. The deadline for applications is September 30, 2026.
The competition represents an opportunity for those planning to launch a business in Monaco. It aims to encourage the creation of new companies by providing selected projects not only with financial support, but also with opportunities to build connections and engage with professionals, investors and key players in Monaco’s business community.
The Concours de Création d’Entreprise is open to project leaders aged between 18 and 40.
To be eligible, applicants must hold at least 33% of the company’s capital, if the company has already been established, or of the future company. Applicants must also be the current manager of the business or intend to take on that role.
Another key requirement is that the project must be compliant with Monegasque legislation and intended to be established in the Principality of Monaco.
One of the main attractions of the 2026 edition is the financial support offered to the finalists.
The first prize, the Prix du Gouvernement Princier, is worth €40,000. The second-place winner will receive the Prix de la Jeune Chambre Economique de Monaco, worth €21,000, while the third prize, the Prix Athos Partners, amounts to €10,000.
Beyond the financial awards, taking part in the competition gives candidates the opportunity to present their business projects before a qualified jury and to establish contacts with organizations and professionals interested in supporting entrepreneurship in Monaco.
Applications are already open and are being reviewed on an ongoing basis. Projects that pass the initial selection stage will move on to the next phase, during which candidates will be required to present their business idea orally before a panel of experts.
These presentations are scheduled to take place next autumn and will represent a key stage in the selection of the winners.
To help aspiring entrepreneurs prepare their applications, the Jeune Chambre Economique de Monaco also provides guides on preparing a business plan, as well as assistance throughout the application process.
Now in its 31st edition, the Concours de Création d’Entreprise has already supported numerous entrepreneurial projects seeking to develop their activities in the Principality.
Previous winners include Radio Chantier, which took first place in the most recent edition, as well as ExcelloCenter, SOCA, HY-Plug, EatIn, Carlo, Doux Village, Athos Partners, Papyrus, Bookvidéo, Le Teashop and My Marketing Xperience.
The competition’s long-standing history confirms its role as a platform for supporting business creation and promoting innovative entrepreneurial ideas in Monaco.
The 2026 edition is organized with the support of the Government of Monaco, together with the technical cooperation of the Direction du Développement Economique and the Monaco Business Office.
The initiative is also supported by several partners, including Athos Partners, Crédit Agricole Monaco, SMT, Gordon S. Blair, Carlo and Azurtech, along with other organizations working with the Jeune Chambre Economique de Monaco.
The goal is to create a supportive environment for the development of selected projects by connecting young entrepreneurs with potential partners, investors and key figures within Monaco’s business community.
Young entrepreneurs interested in taking part in the 31st edition of the Concours de Création d’Entreprise must submit their applications by September 30, 2026.
For participants, the competition offers a concrete opportunity to turn a business idea into a structured project, obtain financial support and gain visibility within Monaco’s business ecosystem.
