Vuelta a Monaco: Post Office Hours Changed on Saturday 22 August, Two Branches to Close

The start of the Vuelta a España from Monaco, scheduled for Saturday 22 August, will bring temporary changes to postal services in the Principality.

On the occasion of the international cycling event, La Poste Monaco has announced several temporary measures affecting the opening of certain branches as well as mail collection and delivery schedules.

Fontvieille and Les Moulins post offices to close

On Saturday 22 August, the post offices in Fontvieille and Les Moulins will exceptionally remain closed for the entire day.

The measure is linked to organisational requirements and traffic restrictions associated with the start of the Vuelta from Monaco.

The other post offices in the Principality will remain open, according to their usual opening hours.

Mail deposit deadline brought forward to 11 am

Saturday will also see a change to the schedule for handling mail.

The deadline for depositing mail will be brought forward to 11 am, while the delivery of letters and parcels will continue until 11.45 am.

These are exceptional measures limited to 22 August and have been introduced in connection with the Vuelta’s departure from Monaco.

Regular postal services resume on Monday 24 August

The changes will be temporary. From Monday 24 August, all post offices in the Principality will return to their normal opening hours.

Anyone planning to use postal services on Saturday 22 August should therefore take into account the closure of the Fontvieille and Les Moulins branches and the earlier deadline for depositing mail.
