Summer in the Maritime Alps is much more than sunshine and spectacular landscapes. Between July 24 and 30, picturesque villages, mountain communities and towns along the French Riviera come alive with a rich calendar of events celebrating the region’s cultural and religious heritage.

Patron saint festivals bring villages together

Throughout the week, many villages celebrate their patron saints with religious ceremonies and festive gatherings.

Among the highlights are the Saint Anne festivals in La Grave de Peille, Beuil, Granile and Puget-Rostang, where Masses, processions, community aperitifs and evening dances create a welcoming atmosphere for all generations.
