Summer 2026 brings a new wave of creativity to the heart of the Principality of Monaco. With Monte-Carlo Glow Up 2026, the renowned campaign by the Société des Bains de Mer renews the city’s image, transforming historic hotels, casinos and iconic venues into an open-air artistic journey. Following the success of last year’s monumental floral installations, this season’s theme focuses on giant origami, a symbol of lightness, elegance and renewal.
From 9 June 2026, Monte-Carlo’s most iconic locations will host spectacular installations depicting birds and butterflies, creating a magical atmosphere both during the day and, above all, at sunset, when the artworks come alive through sophisticated lighting effects.
The spectacular artistic creations, designed by artists Christine Marchal and Céline Pagès, enhance some of the Principality’s most prestigious addresses:
Inspired by the ancient Japanese art of origami, these installations interact with Belle Époque architecture and the Mediterranean landscape, offering visitors an immersive experience that invites them to slow down, observe and rediscover the city from a new perspective.
In the evening, carefully designed lighting highlights every detail of the artworks, transforming squares, lobbies and façades into a striking visual experience, perfect for photography enthusiasts and social media lovers.
Alongside the artistic installations, Glow Up 2026 presents a series of temporary culinary experiences celebrating gastronomic excellence and the art of hospitality.
Among the most exclusive events is the Jardin Belle Époque by Perrier-Jouët, set in Square Beaumarchais. This elegant outdoor venue offers a sensory journey combining champagne and fine dining, within a refined Art Nouveau-style pavilion.
The menu features sophisticated creations such as lobster brioche and veal with gribiche sauce, paired with the prestigious Perrier-Jouët Blanc de Blancs and Blason Rosé cuvées, in an atmosphere blending design, nature and conviviality.
The Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort also renews its summer offering through the Las Brisas restaurant, where Michelin-starred chef Marcel Ravin presents cuisine inspired by Mediterranean, Provençal and Caribbean influences.
The dishes are enhanced by a selection of Château Sainte Marguerite wines, while the summer programme combines musical lunches, panoramic dinners and evenings dedicated to the finest seasonal flavours.
Highlights include the chef’s reinterpretation of the traditional lamb méchoui and the creative Banana-Misu dessert, concluding a gastronomic experience designed to celebrate ingredients, aromas and cultural influences.
With Glow Up 2026, Monte-Carlo confirms its international appeal as a destination where culture, luxury and innovation come together. Artistic installations, gourmet events and exclusive experiences transform the Principality into a spectacular summer stage where design, creativity and flavours exist in perfect harmony.
For visitors exploring Monaco during the summer season, the journey through monumental origami, iconic hotels, exceptional champagne and Michelin-starred cuisine offers a unique opportunity to discover the destination’s most elegant and contemporary side.
Combining urban art, gourmet experiences and enchanting atmospheres, Monte-Carlo Glow Up 2026 confirms its status as one of the most captivating events of the summer on the French Riviera.
