
The Théâtre Princesse Grace (TPG) in Monaco has officially unveiled its 2026–2027 season, reaffirming its commitment to combining tradition, innovation and openness to new artistic forms. Director Françoise Gamerdinger presented a rich and diverse programme featuring 34 performances, original productions, prestigious collaborations and innovative formats designed to broaden audiences and strengthen the theatre’s cultural role within the Principality.
Among the season’s highlights are an exclusive collaboration with the Prince’s Carabiniers Orchestra, a co-production by renowned director Macha Makeïeff, a special performance at the Grimaldi Forum and a brand-new festival dedicated entirely to younger generations.
The new programme will welcome some of the most celebrated performers on the French stage.
One of the most anticipated productions is “Potiche”, marking Paloma’s return to the TPG stage alongside the outstanding Clémentine Célarié. Another major attraction is “Le Père”, Florian Zeller’s acclaimed play starring Pierre Arditi.
Comedy lovers can look forward to “Le Bourgeois Gentilhomme”, in which Jean-Paul Rouve takes on the role of Monsieur Jourdain in a refined comedy-ballet to be staged at the Grimaldi Forum.

The season will also showcase a selection of literary and thought-provoking works.
Among them is “La Rencontre”, a solo performance by Thierry Lhermitte based on the philosophical essay by Charles Pépin, and “Sœurs”, an explosive verbal confrontation directed by Pascal Rambert.
Audiences will also have the opportunity to rediscover “Trahisons” by Nobel Prize-winning playwright Harold Pinter, featuring Swann Arlaud.

A major event of the season will be the concert by the Prince’s Carabiniers Orchestra, celebrating iconic film scores from some of cinema’s greatest masterpieces.
The programme also features “La Cathédrale engloutie”, directed by Florent Siaud, exploring family memory and cultural heritage.
Another highly anticipated production is “Zone d’attente”, a new creation by Macha Makeïeff co-produced by the Théâtre Princesse Grace, showcasing the director’s distinctive dreamlike artistic universe.

The Théâtre Princesse Grace will continue its longstanding partnership with the Rencontres Philosophiques de Monaco, hosting workshops, discussions and the annual “Philo Monaco” week throughout the season.
The theatre’s foyer bar will welcome audiences from 6 p.m. on performance evenings.
Season subscriptions will be available from June 29 by mail or email, and in person at the theatre from August 24.
Single-performance tickets will go on sale from August 31.
