The summer of 2026 in the Principality of Monaco will be marked by a new educational initiative dedicated to young audiences and the world of motorsport. The Grimaldi Forum Monaco is launching the “Ateliers Jeunesse”, a series of creative workshops and guided visits linked to the exhibition “Monaco & the Automobile”, designed for children aged 5 to 12.

The programme will run from 6 to 17 July 2026 and will offer a playful and educational journey through the history of automobiles, motorsport, design and road safety. Activities will take place from Monday to Friday and will always begin with a guided visit of the exhibition.

An immersive journey through Formula 1, rally heritage and automotive design

Workshops are divided into two age groups: 10:00–12:00 for children aged 5 to 8, and 14:00–16:00 for those aged 9 to 12. Each session will host a maximum of 25 participants to ensure an engaging and interactive experience.

Each day focuses on a specific automotive theme. On Monday, “À vos marques ? Prêts ? Partez !” introduces children to the world of the Monaco Grand Prix by creating a racing car using recycled cardboard and decorative elements inspired by motorsport design.

Tuesday’s workshop, “Le Rallye s’affiche !”, explores the history of rally racing through advertising posters from the 1930s to the 1970s. Children will create artistic compositions using collage and découpage techniques.

Road safety education meets creativity at the Grimaldi Forum

On Wednesday, “La Formule 1 et le design” explores the distinctive shapes of Formula 1 cars, highlighting the relationship between aerodynamics and aesthetics.

Thursday focuses on road safety with “La sécurité routière, un jeu d’enfant !”, an educational workshop combining interactive games and an escape game to raise awareness of road safety rules in a fun and engaging way.

The week concludes on Friday with “Les bolides du Grimaldi Forum”, a collaborative workshop where children design a logo and customise racing cars using various artistic materials.
