“Résonances” in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat 2026: Six Contemporary Artists Exhibited at Espace Neptune Between Europe and Africa

Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat hosts a major new international contemporary art exhibition. From 7 to 17 May 2026, the Espace Neptune on Quai Virgile Allari presents “Résonances – Rencontre de six artistes contemporains”, bringing together six artists from Europe and Africa in a rich interdisciplinary dialogue.

The opening is scheduled for 7 May at 6:30 PM. The exhibition will be open to the public daily from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM with free admission.

An international exhibition of artistic languages and identities

“Résonances” aims to connect diverse artistic practices, creating a direct dialogue between techniques, cultures and worldviews.

The six selected artists represent a broad overview of contemporary art, ranging from figurative painting and expressionist abstraction to hyperrealism and material experimentation.

Saint-Étienne Yeanzi: identity and matter between Africa and the international art scene

Among the featured artists is Ivorian painter Saint-Étienne Yeanzi, graduated with highest honors from ENBA Abidjan.

His work focuses on identity through a “molten plastic” technique, where paint is poured without brushes, revealing faces and forms between intention and chance.

His works have been exhibited internationally in cities such as London, New York, Dubai, Cape Town and Dakar, as well as at the 2022 Venice Biennale in the Ivory Coast Pavilion.

Guillaume Strohl: hyperrealism and the dialogue between body and water

French artist Guillaume Strohl, trained at the Beaux-Arts of Versailles and Nantes, develops a precise and controlled visual language.

His recent work explores the relationship between the human body and water, using monochrome hyperrealism. He also employs makeup pencils as painting tools, creating a unique texture and intensity.

Michael Milburn-Foster: movement, sport and expressive painting

Welsh artist Michael Milburn-Foster, trained at Kingston College of Art in London, was active in the London art scene of the 1960s.

His work focuses on movement in sport and dance, creating dynamic visual illusions. He has exhibited internationally and was selected in 2018 to represent France in an official exhibition in Shanghai.

Eva Marc’h: colour energy and feminine identity

Born in Paris and trained at the Ateliers des Beaux-Arts, Eva Marc’h moves from figurative painting to expressionist abstraction.

Her work explores colour, gesture and energy, addressing themes such as identity, femininity and the human condition. She has held numerous solo exhibitions in Europe, New York and Dubai.

Oleg Sheludyakov: an international career between Russia and Europe

Russian artist Oleg Sheludyakov, active independently since 1997, has held more than 40 solo exhibitions worldwide.

Since 2005 he has lived and worked in France, teaching drawing at AIAP Monaco. His works are included in international public and private collections.

Jean-Louis Landraud: Mediterranean sculpture and poetic form

Completing the selection is Nice-born sculptor Jean-Louis Landraud, self-taught and active for over thirty years.

His work explores form, balance and movement, inspired by the Mediterranean environment, combining material presence with poetic expression.

“Résonances” offers visitors in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat a unique opportunity to experience diverse artistic languages and perspectives.
