The Théâtre des Variétés is hosting a new exhibition dedicated to five artists currently in residence at the Ateliers du Quai Antoine Ier, an initiative promoted by the Department of Cultural Affairs of the Principality of Monaco.

The exhibition offers visitors the opportunity to discover the work of artists with diverse backgrounds and creative paths, bringing together a project that highlights contemporary artistic research and dialogue between different visual languages.

Located in the center of the Principality, the Théâtre des Variétés is one of Monaco’s key cultural venues. It regularly hosts artistic associations, performances and cultural initiatives, making it a dynamic space where visual arts and live performance intersect, encouraging direct engagement with the public.

The exhibition presents works that reflect the diversity of approaches and sensitivities among the participating artists. The featured works include:

  • Louise Chatelain, Procès Verbal (2024)

  • Lukas Meir, Mer avec portrait d’une sainte en maillot de bain (2026)

  • Mónika Üveges, Fragile States (2025)

  • Théophile Sargenti, Nemosis n°1 (2026)

The artists are currently hosted at the Ateliers du Quai Antoine Ier, a space dedicated to artistic residencies and creative production, offering artists the opportunity to develop their projects in a stimulating environment. The exhibition at the Théâtre des Variétés provides an important opportunity to share the results of their research and experimentation with the public.
