Menton reaffirms its commitment to solidarity and inclusion by hosting the third edition of the Citizen Social Action Forum, scheduled for Saturday, January 31, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the prestigious Palais de l’Europe. The event is free and open to everyone, offering an accessible space for listening, dialogue, and practical support for the entire community.
The forum brings together more than 70 professional organizations—public institutions, private entities, and associations—represented across 49 thematic stands. It forms a true village of social action, covering key areas of everyday life such as social and humanitarian services, health, disability, childhood and youth, home care, nursing homes (EHPAD), housing, guardianship, employment, legal services, animal protection, and service clubs.
The initiative aims to foster direct contact between citizens and local professionals, providing clear information, personalized guidance, and concrete assistance to address individual needs. Visitors will have the opportunity to discover existing support systems and identify the most suitable solutions for their personal situations.
A solidarity café will welcome attendees, symbolizing the spirit of sharing at the heart of the event. The visit unfolds across nine information areas designed to ensure clarity and accessibility. Numerous interactive activities will animate the stands, including health-related quizzes organized by the CD06 Health Department, play areas for children managed by the CCAS Early Childhood services and the CD06 PMI, addiction prevention tests at the CSAPA stand, and immersive awareness activities on visual impairment featuring a simulation headset and white cane experience, led by SAMSAH DV06.
The Social Action Forum thus stands as a key moment of connection, information, and prevention—strengthening ties between institutions, associations, and citizens, while making essential services more accessible and closer to everyday life.
