Grasse Embraces Diversity: the Forum du Handicap Turns the City into a Lab of Inclusion

On November 21, 2025, Grasse, the city of perfumes, hosts a new edition of the Forum du Handicap, organized by the City of Grasse and the Centre Communal d’Action Sociale (CCAS). This year’s theme, “La diversité s’invite à la fête”, celebrates diversity through a festive and educational approach, promoting awareness and inclusion.

From 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, the Palais des Congrès and Cours Honoré Cresp will become the vibrant heart of the day, offering meetings, sports demonstrations, and experience exchanges open to citizens, associations, institutions, and professionals.

“We want to highlight local initiatives and create new synergies,” says Marc Rossio, director of the CCAS. “The Forum is an opportunity to inform about rights, support programs, and the dynamism of Grasse’s associations. Above all, it is a moment of sharing and meeting for all citizens.”

A rich and engaging program

At the Palais des Congrès, numerous information booths and awareness spaces will showcase associations and projects promoting inclusion. At Cours Honoré Cresp, participants can try adapted sports and parasports, including cécifoot, boccia, and immersive courses designed to highlight the challenges of accessibility.

The official opening is scheduled for 11:30 AM, and at 6:00 PM, still at the Palais des Congrès, the conference “Handicap et performance, mission (im)possible?” will take place, featuring Tanguy de la Forest and Gaëlle Edon (registration required).

Inclusion at 360 degrees

The Forum is part of a broader week of initiatives dedicated to inclusion. In parallel, the Mayor of Grasse will participate in Duoday, welcoming a person with a disability to the town hall to share a work experience.

An urban accessibility path, organized with municipal services, will identify areas for improvement to make the city increasingly accessible.

Throughout the day, the Mission Locale du Pays de Grasse (LABONID) will host a television plateau, giving voice to witnesses, associations, and companies committed to promoting a more inclusive society.
