The Committee for the Promotion and Protection of Women’s Rights will welcome Madame Isabelle Rome to Monaco on Thursday, 20 November 2025, for a full day of institutional exchanges and discussions on policies protecting women.

A former magistrate specialized in domestic and intrafamilial violence, and later Minister Delegate for Gender Equality, Diversity and Equal Opportunities, Isabelle Rome is widely recognized for her commitment to women’s rights and her strong involvement in combating domestic violence. Her visit to the Principality is part of the initiatives surrounding the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women (25 November) and is included in the Committee’s ongoing programme of good-practice exchanges with international counterparts.

Throughout the day, the Ambassador will meet with representatives of Monegasque institutions, state services, and member associations of the Committee, to discuss the measures implemented in both France and Monaco in terms of prevention and protection against violence towards women.

The visit will conclude with a public conference at Lycée Rainier III, at 6:00 p.m., during which Isabelle Rome will address the key challenges in combating violence against women and the priorities for the years to come.

Free entry.
