On Wednesday, November 5, starting at 12 p.m., Parc Princesse Antoinette will once again host the “Don de plantes”, the eco-friendly initiative organized by the Monaco Town Hall, which has been enjoying great success among residents for more than two years.
This symbolic yet concrete gesture has a simple but meaningful goal: to give a second life to the park’s plants, which are removed during seasonal changes. In front of the salle anniversaire, the municipal gardeners will distribute around a hundred summer plants — including begonias and laurels — while also sharing practical tips and secrets for their care and planting.
Beyond offering a touch of greenery to citizens, the event stands as a virtuous example of circular economy and waste reduction, part of the Town Hall’s broader efforts to encourage sustainable and responsible daily habits.
To ensure everyone can take part, the distribution will be limited to one plant per person. A perfect opportunity to bring a bit of nature home and contribute, through a small gesture, to Monaco’s wider ecological commitment.
