Following the operations carried out last winter, the Princely Government will launch in October 2025 the final stage of the protection and enhancement works at Larvotto Beach. Scheduled to continue until April 2026, this phase involves replacing the existing geotubes with three rock-built islets, designed to reinforce shoreline stability and ensure the long-term preservation of the beach area.
These new structures are part of an eco-design approach that also promotes the development of marine biodiversity.
The beach will remain accessible throughout the project, with only a small section temporarily closed in October. At sea, a temporary no-swimming and no-diving zone will be established to ensure user safety during operations.
All restaurants and shops within the complex will remain open without restriction.
Through this initiative, Monaco reaffirms its commitment to a sustainable and attractive coastline, for the benefit of residents, visitors, and local businesses.
