With the arrival of autumn, Antibes Juan-les-Pins becomes a lively crossroads of art, history and tradition. Museums, squares and historic districts host a rich calendar of events that range from international art to local celebrations, offering visitors an Indian summer with a unique charm.

At the Picasso Museum, until September 26, two major exhibitions take center stage: a tribute to Arman, twenty years after his passing, and a retrospective dedicated to Bernar Venet, featuring his paintings and monumental corten steel sculptures displayed also outdoors. At the same time, the Hartung-Bergman Foundation presents Paysages intérieurs, with works by Bergman, Hartung, Molnár, Haass and Nesjar.

From September 6 to 21, the Festival d’Art Sacré celebrates 900 years of the Antibes Cathedral with concerts and performances in churches and chapels across the city, while the tower next to the Cathedral lights up in gold every evening, a symbol of spirituality and memory.

On September 13, the “Commune Libre du Safranier” renews the Fête des Vendanges with traditional grape pressing and tastings of the new cuvée’s must. Autumn continues with the Fête des Châtaignes and the Fête de la Bûche, keeping local traditions alive.

From September 19 to 21, the European Heritage Days open the doors to unusual places such as the Music Conservatory and the historic “1932” hotel at Cap d’Antibes, with guided tours, workshops and special events.

Finally, from October 18 to November 2, the street art festival “Coul’heures d’Automne” brings monumental murals, creative workshops and international artists to the city, turning Antibes Juan-les-Pins into an open-air gallery and reaffirming its role as a hub of creativity and innovation.
