On Friday, September 19, Isabelle Berro-Amadeï, Government Counsellor-Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, welcomed four newly accredited Ambassadors at the Hôtel Hermitage:
H.E. Mr. Nkosinathi Emmanuel Mthethwa, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of South Africa, who served as Minister of Sports, Arts, and Culture from 2019 to 2023.
H.E. Ms. Ana Elena Pinto Lizano, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Costa Rica, also accredited to Benin and Côte d’Ivoire.
H.E. Ms. Radka Balabanova-Ruleva, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Bulgaria, formerly Director of External Economic Relations and Development Cooperation.
H.E. Mr. Fahad Saeed Mohamed Abdulla Al Raqbani, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates, who served as UAE Ambassador to Canada from 2018 to 2024.
Earlier in the morning, the diplomats had presented their Letters of Credence to H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince. Later, during an official luncheon, they exchanged views with Minister Berro-Amadeï, in the presence of Ludmilla Raconnat Le Goff, Delegate for Attractiveness to the Minister of State and Secretary General of the Strategic Council for Attractiveness, and Guillaume Rose, CEO of the Monaco Economic Board.
The meeting was an opportunity to reaffirm the ties of friendship and cooperation that unite the Principality of Monaco with each of these nations.
