This morning, the Minister of State, accompanied by members of the Government, held the back-to-school press conference.
In his opening remarks, Christophe MIRMAND expressed his determination to work “with commitment, determination and enthusiasm in the service of the Principality and all Monegasques […] I feel Monegasque at heart, but I still have much to learn,” he continued.
The Minister of State outlined the priorities of the Princely Government for the coming months: the 2025 supplementary budget, for which discussions with the National Council will intensify; strengthening the Principality’s attractiveness; compliance with international standards (FATF/MONEYVAL); major projects, including urban planning and the necessary greening; and finally, mobility, whether rail networks or road traffic.
On this last point, the Minister of State stressed the absolute need to find, in the coming days, a solution “acceptable to all the stakeholders concerned so as not to penalize the workers who come to Monaco every day and the residents of the Principality” in their daily travel, currently hampered by road diversions linked to a construction site on the moyenne corniche near the commune of Cap d’Ail.
